♫♪ MUSIC ♪♫ Joshua Morgan – Student: When I was looking at the course or program outline I noticed a lot of the stuff that they
were teaching seemed very practical. I can easily see myself using the knowledge that they provide in courses in real life and on the job. Networking is just a growing
industry, I think it’s just going to be everywhere these days, so it’s a good career for you to get into. Pawandeep Singh – Student: When I actually saw these instruments and equipments and I’d gone through it and I actually found it so similar it’s actually what is being used in the industry now, it’s actually the same. So, what you experience here are Cisco
routers and switches, multilayer switches they are very much the current standards of the industry and what they’re using right now. Ferdous Islam – Faculty: The program itself consist of the Diploma Program which is six semesters, three year that can be fast tracked to two years, if somebody has a bachelor’s degree. And that’s more for a full phase network professional, for example a network administrator a junior network engineer, a network designer. The amount of evolution the amount of changes that’s happening makes it truly exciting. The kind of practice they put you through in everyday labs will actually get you more ready for the real world environment. I will be working in my next semester so, I’m actually more confident because I have been through all of that already. When you do something on the job, you can usually feel like you’ve done this before. I can think back to Centennial, and I won’t feel like I don’t know what I’m doing when it really counts. Centennial gives me all the practice I
need, so I can’t make mistakes when it doesn’t count. ♫♪ MUSIC ♪♫
