Open Terminal Now , Run the following command
“sudo apt-get update” You got “Failed to fetch” error. Now, see .. How to fix it.. Open source list file of google chrome (google-chrome.list – which is present in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/)
with your fav text editor. You can do this by running following command.
” sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list ” Now, Just replace ” deb http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main ”
with ” deb [arch=amd64] http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/ stable main ” ,
SAVE the file and then close it. Thats it ..!
You have done it successfully.. !
Now , Run ” sudo apt-get update ” command again..
This time you won’t get update error…
