MESA DE MEZCLAS – Cómo JUNTAR o UNIR DOS CONSOLAS para SUMAR SUS CANALES

HOW TO JOIN TWO MIXERS We are going to use a small mixer to support the main mixer when the main mixer doesn’t have enough microphone inputs In this case, we’ll use the mic preamps of the small mixer to complement the main mixer For instance, we are going to recreate a concert with six microphones The main mixer only has four mic preamps with XLR connectors So we need two additional mic inputs The small mixer has these two mic preamps In the main mixer, we have connected four microphones: 1 – LEFT OVERHEAD for DRUMS 2 – RIGHT OVERHEAD 3 – The BASS microphone picking up the sound from the bass amplifier 4 – The ELECTRIC GUITAR microphone picking up the sound from the amplifier So we have connected four microphones and we don’t have more mic inputs but we still have to connect the acoustic guitar and the voice microphone Thus we are going to connect these two microphones to the mic inputs 1 and 2 of this complementary mixer Now we have the six microphones connected to six mic inputs In this video, we are using line inputs with jack connectors because we are playing recorded tracks, but in a real concert, we’ll use real microphones and we’ll need the valuable mic inputs Now we have to send channels 1 and 2 from the small mixer to the main mixer through the MAIN MIX L and R respectively
