HP Easy Scan allows you to scan and edit
documents and photos from your HP printer to your Mac computer. HP Easy Scan can be downloaded from the App
Store or installed with HP Easy Start. On your printer, lift the scanner lid. Place the document or photo you want to scan
print side down on the scanner glass. Follow any guides or markings on your scanner
bed for proper placement. If supported by your printer, you can load a multi-page
document into the automatic document feeder. Close the scanner lid. On your Mac computer, open Finder. From the menu bar, click Go, then click Applications. Double-click HP Easy Scan. Click the drop-down menu next to Scanner and
select your printer. Click the drop-down menu next to Presets and
select the scan job type from the list. Click Scan. If you are scanning from the scanner bed and
have additional pages to scan, load the new page and then click Scan Next Item. Otherwise, click Done. Click the thumbnail of the scanned document
or photo to display your scanned image. If desired, click Edit to adjust colors, straighten
the scan, or crop the size. To save your scans to a folder on the Mac,
click Send, then click Folder. Click the drop-down menu next to Where and browse
to the folder where you want to save the file. Click Save to save the scanned image to your Mac.
