(question sent via Instagram) So, continuing with the bonus questions of the Month of the Subscribers today’s question is from Dallila and she talks about the fear of death and also about all difficulties she’s been facing because of it as finding it hard to go out and to relate to people Is this normal? Well, today we will talk about a lot of subjects of this topic In this video’s intro, I’ve already started talking about the first one of them The survival instinct is inherent to all living organisms We think that a plant is just a plant, right? And that there is no survival instinct but even vegetables have it There are scientific experiments that measure certain frequency waves in plants I do not know much about it but it’s said that these experiments prove that when a person approaches a plant with scissors intending to cut it the plant modifies its vibrations, the waves they measure in this experiment So even the Plant Kingdom has the survival instinct even cells seek survival So, at first, we have a normal level of life maintenance in the preservation of life This is totally healthy I’ll tell you what I imagine… Imagine our Creator, who must have worked pretty hard throughout the history of the evolution of organisms and all that exists until creating a human being actually, until creating any living organism For us to get lost like this? emotions And the fourth is the big head, our thoughts So these four elements, basically four, make up the human personality they make up a person, a human being, an ego what we live So our physical organism, we have in resemblance to the Mineral Kingdom Our vital organism, the vital body, we have in resemblance to the Plant Kingdom For example, when a person is in the hospital still alive, but without communication, we say that the person is in a vegetative state living organism like a plant When we put emotions on it, we have in resemblance to all animals, that thrill like humans And when we put the thinking on it, the human mind the way it works we have the Human Kingdom So these four elements make up one person the physical, the vital element, the emotions and the thoughts And as I mentioned the four Kingdoms we know when we study the evolution of life on earth, for example that the Mineral Kingdom is the oldest Kingdom so for some reason the Plant Kingdom arose and from the Plant Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom arose and from the Animal Kingdom, the man arose.
Isn’t that how we learn? If we think about time, evolution, existence, it is something like this, one thing comes after another But of those four, which one has the most power? Who rules the planet? The human being isn’t it?
We dominate the whole planet So in us, it works the same way in us, even though our mind had appeared last in existence it dominates everything else in ourselves Some people say that the energy follows the thoughts more or less because actually the energy that is the life force follows the emotions and emotions follow thoughts So of those four elements that make up the human being physical, life, emotions and thinking it flows from top to bottom So you think, and your thoughts make you feel something, emotions, in a certain way Your emotions either block or stimulate the flow of life and the flow of life, in turn, makes you healthy or sick can you understand? So the boss of all this, where it all starts is in here, in the thoughts I want you to understand that I’m explaining all this in a short video, ok? It’s a video of just a few minutes But all this is a lot more complex than what I’m explaining it here, I am explaining it in a basic way for you to understand Firstly you think – so we have the movie going on in our head, right? so let’s imagine there a tragic movie The mind creates these movies based on what it sees during the day based on past experiences based on television, based on what other people said, based on life’s experiences So if a person is in an environment where their parents, their family, talk a lot about the dangers about the difficulty of existence, about violence this mind, this child, or who is in this family will receive this information and the mind will create stories about that Or if you watch tv shows, or tv news that will talk about robberies, murders, and all the social problems of a big city this will be in your mental field and your mind will create stories about that These stories are not always perceptible to the consciousness sometimes they are there, just as a tv
turned on in a room, it’s just there you’re not paying attention to it but it’s there And as I said, thinking makes emotions manifest For example, when you watch a tv new, as I said before, naturally your emotions go to that place isn’t it? Thug, murder, rape, whatever! All that is in life, right? The violence that appears on tv How are your emotions after watching it?
Relaxed? In peace? Or will you somehow be afraid? Or feel threatened? Tense like this, right? The same thing happens in the head the mind creates the stories, the emotions react “I’m afraid” The emotion contracted with fear causes the flow of life to be blocked here and there, all around and suddenly we are sick there’s something in us that is not working well And that’s how it works in all human beings, there’s nothing new here Dallila talked about this fear of death that keeps her from doing things Well, at the beginning of the video I said that the life-sustaining instinct is natural in all living beings But the exaggeration of it as not being able to relate, not being able to leave home, not being able to live the experiences we came to live on Earth what for then? So we need to solve this challenge I’m giving you a key here the main point that has to be noticed is the stories of the mind What are the stories that my mind is creating? Well if this is not working, we can even do a previous step What ingredients am I giving to my mind? What are the images I am giving my mind to create these stories? Am I watching too much news? Am I listening to a lot of people who only talk about violence, death and difficulty? Am I reading police novels or mysteries? So what are the ingredients I’m giving my mind to create my movie in here? So with that I can already start to make a transformation in order to change that And after that I can think What are the movies that my mind is showing me? Does this correspond to reality? right? Is what I’m watching corresponding to the reality? And what is the real? For example, here where I am, the real is chair I’m sitting in the chair I have a seat under me there is a floor here there are some cushions, I’m comfortable there is a flower back there, the environment is beautiful I am breathing only that nothing else is happening The mind can create a story about the past, something I’ve watched, or heard, that I don’t even know if it’s true or about the future, a possibility I’ll never know if it will happen or not So here we enter a process of questioning our mind Questioning the mind is something that everyone somehow needs to learn to do otherwise we get caught in a universe that is pure fantasy and we create psychic diseases or we create panic syndrome we create depression, we create anxiety, we create paranoia, we create all this because of the movie we watch inside our heads So here, let’s draw consciousness and say “What movie is going on right now, here in my head, that is different from reality?” “What is happening?” So I can apply some tools, I’ll mention 3 tools here: Tool #1: There is “The Work” by Byron Katie There is a YouTube channel named “Byron Katie”, go there and watch the videos notice how to question the stories in your head notice that they are not true it’s just a movie, just a story notice conclusions the mind has created that do not correspond to reality this is one tool Another tool is a technique called “The Zero Point” it’s a technique in which you notice the story then you give certain commands to your mind for this story to be dissolved and thrown away I learned this technique and created an online course that, if you want, you can go there and apply the technique Another tool: watching the stories of the mind and willingly ignore them and say “No! I will not pay attention to it” “It’s not with me” As if I could turn off the internal tv Get busy! Go do some manual work or go help other people, or volunteer all occupations help us to ignore the stories in our head When we do this process of questioning the stories, of deleting stories, of ignoring them the emotions, which is what comes next, pacify And you start breathing better and your chest moves better there is less stress less fear and as a consequence, life flows better in your body and therefore your body relaxes and even disease symptoms get better just because of it How to overcome the fear of death? Working your head, working on these stories in your head So we know that there is a level of normality and everything is fine no one has to worry about wanting to stay alive on our planet I want to stay alive for many years healthy, mountain climbing, kayaking, playing with my daughters, enjoying life
